I have 6 years experience in running fitness classes.  I started off teaching aerobics and salsa as a Rosemary Conley diet & fitness franchisee.  I then came across more and more people who wanted to vary their fitness regime more, so started teaching circuits, fitness pilates, stability ball, chair-based exercises for the elderly, and then moved outside to share my passion for running and Nordic Walking.

Nordic Walking

Nordic Walking came about in Scandinavia when cross-country skiers were looking at how to maintain their fitness in the summer.  They needed something with a similar technique to cross-country skiing, but also requiring the stamina and strength.

I constantly hear people saying "I can't run". Well, my answer is that everyone can run, some are just trying to run too fast, too soon.  By starting gently and building up gradually, nearly everyone can run.

FITNESS CLASS in the Manor Valley 
 

A low-impact fitness class at Manor Village Hall, Kirkton Manor, Peebles, EH45 9JH on Thursday evenings at 6-7pm.  The class may include Aerobics and toning, possibly involving the odd bit of Salsa, Line Dancing, Boxercise or Pilates depending on how the mood takes us.
